That’s a hallmark of a good teacher. Although an executive coach’s role is quite different than a teacher, humility serves a coach and the leader who is being coached well. Humility allows a coach

-to stay in the background and not give decisions to the leader.

-to stay focused on facts about the leader, leader’s business, and own gut feelings

-to learn something from the interaction with the leader.
