Leading through the power of persuasion

Leading through power of persuasion says that these ‘tools’ can be used: threats or consequences, passion, pathos, humor, wit, imperfection, surprise, wonder

Nice. But how do you get to using them? Even if you get going on this, the real problem is that this will still not ‘persuade’ people. All of us are intelligent enough to discern what can be seen as ‘tactics’. Even if some toe the your line, they will do so with reservations.

You need clarity of thought (logic), values (e.g. fairness) and empathy (good emotional response) for your people. And if you have a great vision that will certainly help. The question is how to get into these habits.

That is the question. And do you want to get into such habits?
