I know this  works while running. My running technique requires that I relax my legs, shoulders, and lower back as much as possible! It works!

If you work on something which needs concentration and which is important for you early in your work day, it helps to relax. You handle disruptions and urgencies easily during the remain part of your day. It works at work too.
